🔵 TRANSACTION FEES

To perform transactions on a blockchain, you have to pay a small fee. With the Polygon blockchain this fee is called “gas” and is paid in the native cryptocurrency of the Polygon blockchain “POL”. The fee is paid to the so called validators, to write your move/transactions into the blockchain, and not to the Soccerverse team.

Every move in the game triggers such a transaction and you will have to pay a small fee for it. This is usually less than a cent (USD - as of 2026). A move is for example, submitting your tactics, buying influence, voting etc. - just logging in and clicking around is not considered a move as this does not trigger any transactions.

Whenever you initiate an ingame move, you will first have to confirm the transaction in your wallet. Afterwards there will be a little popup top right, which tracks the execution of your transaction.

Transactions on Polygon are fast and it usually only takes a couple of seconds for your transaction to be confirmed, so allow it some time and make sure you always have enough POL (on the Polygon network) in your wallet.

FREE MOVES

For certain moves you don't have to pay these transactions on your own, but the Soccerverse team will pay them for you.

There is a limit on the number of free moves for certain types of moves and per day and week. You can check your free move allowance by clicking the free moves icon in the top bar. Once you are out of free moves for the type, day or the week, you have to pay all moves on your own. "Money"moves can never be paid with free moves.

The free moves are not enabled by default, so you would have to enable them first to use them. Go to the dropdown menu top right, then settings and free moves.  Click on the "sign" button and approve the delegation in your wallet.

Afterwards click on the "sign" button to grant move permission and confirm in your wallet again.

You have now successfully set up free moves. You can at any time disable free moves and also revoke the delegation again.
